Dr. Kasten received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in Illinois, and holds a BS in Biology from the University of Wisconsin - Go Badgers! Prior to launching Modern Physical Medicine, Maggie practiced for 7 years at a leading wellness center in the Chicagoland area, eventually serving as the Medical Director for the company, and continues to consult in training and professional development of their physical medicine team. She is trained in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, which is the most researched and validated assessment and treatment for spinal conditions. She also has extensive training in functional rehabilitation. Dr. Kasten is dedicated to women’s health, and she has a passion for working with expectant and new mothers. She is certified in Webster Technique, a specialized protocol for easing the birthing process. In 2018, Maggie and her husband Sean moved back home to the Milwaukee area to start their family. Since Layla and Lucille have joined, there has been so much love and so little sleep!
